Faith Hill has revealed she hopes to create her own fashion line.

The 42-year-old red carpet regular is judging the finale of this season’s Project Runway, and said she’d like to make clothes for working mothers like herself.

The singer, who is mum to three daughters, said: “If the right opportunity presents itself, I can guarantee you it would be my passion, and I would put my heart and soul into making it the best it could possibly be. I would design for the women I know and their kids … busy moms with great style.”

The country star said she could really relate to up and coming fashion designers that are on the show. Hill, who is married to Tim McGraw said she got along great with Heidi Klum, the Project Runway host.

In just 2 months, it will hit stores and the first pictures of her clothing line (known as ‘Project D’) have been released and can be found on the internet – including on this site. The collection was a collabarition between Minogue and her friend – designer Tabitha Somerset-Webb.

The first image is of a model wearing a glamorous sequinned evening gown belted at her waist. Here it is:

Minogue is 38 years old and is six months pregnant with her first child.

She said this of her new collection:

“Fashion has been a passion of mine since I can remember and I hope that every woman who slips on a Project D dress will feel glamorous yet effortless.”

“Our philosophy is to make feeling confident with your wardrobe easy. We will do the hard work and get the details on the dresses right, so all you have to do is enjoy them.”

We’ll see how the rest of the collection looks in the coming days.

In days gone by this would not have been possible. No way, no how but a number of shows this fall and winter will feature models with gray hair.

A Calvin Klein show’s audience recently was shocked to see 43-year-old model Kristen McMenamy wearing her silvery grey hair.

Designers from Calvin Klein said they wanted to better represent the woman that bought their clothing and this was a good step in that direction.

I started doing some research online to see if there was other ‘mad people’ out there that cared more about what they looked like than what they were paying for a credit card – I mean clothes I can understand, I am a woman after all, but for a piece of plastic you only pull out at the counter? Seemed a little crazy to me, but I did find out my own friend has 17 different credit cards. When I asked why she felt the need to have so many? “I got bored with the design” and so she applied for new cards with new designs!

As I looked around I realised the incredible number of people who choose their credit card for the fashion statement it gives off and not the financial advantages it comes with. However the more I researched about it, the more I realised how vain people are. You know you can get credit cards with your own photo as the design on it?

I have a charity card; the skin on this one is representing the charity. It makes me proud to pull that out my wallet and use, and don’t worry this one is also a low APR credit card.

My friend’s argument for having a ‘fashionable’ credit card was actually not that bad. “If I pay off my balance in full at the end of every month, the the APR is of no bother to me. Why then should I not go for a good looking credit card?”

Because my friend…. there will come a time when you will forget or simply overspend! What then? That sting will be worse than not looking good!

The black dress worn by Diana, Princess of Wales, for her first official appearance with the Prince of Wales shortly before their engagement in 1981 surfaces at auction this summer.

There were rumours that black taffeta gown had been destroyed by the Princess but that was not the case. It recently turned up at the studio of dressmakers Elizabeth & David Emanuel. It’s expected that the dress will go for as much as £50,000 when it goes up for auction in London this June.
